Meet Dr. Justin Wu

Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics

Dr. Justin Wu is a board-certified Endodontist who strives to provide quality care catered to each and every patient. He prides himself on a conservative approach both in diagnosis and in his treatments. Dr. Wu graduated from University of California San Diego with honors and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from UCLA. He then traveled to New York City, where he completed a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. Following several years of private practice as a general dentist in New York City, he returned to Southern California to pursue his passion for endodontics and completed his Endodontic Residency and Masters of Science at Loma Linda University.

Dr. Wu and his family moved to Sonoma County in 2020 to work alongside Dr. Fortman. He jumped at the opportunity to be a part of a practice which has had a strong history in the community and resonated with the practice’s commitment to excellence. He enjoys and takes pride in carrying on the tradition which Dr. Fortman and his predecessors have set.  

When he is not in the office or chasing his two kids around, Dr. Wu is an avid endurance athlete! He has completed many marathons including the Santa Rosa, Napa Valley, Boston, and NYC Marathons. Always yearning for more, he has also gotten into triathlons and completed a full Ironman in 2023!

A board-certified endodontist has completed advanced specialty training and passed rigorous exams, including a case portfolio review and oral assessment.  Only ~30% of Endodontists are Board Certified.
